For those that wish to send me sensitive data (whether it be passwords, account info, etc), I support and recommend using PGP encrypted email. The GNU Privacy Guard is an excellent piece of free, open source software that will allow you to do this. In order to send me PGP encrypted email/files, you'll need my public encryption key (text format .asc file).
GAIM users may also message me securely by using the GAIM encryption plugin. Just make sure you have the latest stable version, as thats what I'm likely to be using.
